We're going to do things a bit differently in Tassie. By popular demand we're making it a tre-giorni milleduecento event. That's a 'three-day 1200k' event for those of you without google translate.

We've worked in with the Australian National Classic Scooter Rally (ANCSR) organisers so that we can all make quite a Tasmanian holiday of it if we desire. We'll start in Launceston and do loops out and back for days 1 and 2. Day 3 will start in Launceston but end in Devonport (where the ferry docks) to join with ANCSR peeps for the rally meet and greet event at Molly Malones.

So, you'll need to:
(a) Decide where to leave any backup / transport vehicles (Launceston or Devonport)
(b) Book accommodation in Launceston so that you can start days 1, 2 and 3 there
(c) Book accommodation for Devonport and beyond if you're going to participate in the ANCSR

We will be starting the Mille reasonably early each morning, so we don't recommend riding from Devonport to the start of day 1. It's an hour or so's ride between the two and we don't want riders duelling with the plentiful Tasmanian wildlife on the way...it's the reason we're doing 3 days rather than 2 (to avoid riding at dawn or dusk).
