REGISTRATIONS FOR THE 2017 EVENT HAVE NOW CLOSED
Brilly has been hatching a route for some time (he's been riding these roads since a teenager), and he's come up with some of the best countryside that Queensland has to offer.
There are a couple of changes to what we have done in the past:
On Day One, there is an "up and back" leg. If the weather isn't good on the day, we will drop this off to make it safer.
On Day Two, Brilly has a "figure 8" route, this is where we do the same piece of road twice (once at the beginning of the day, and again at the end), this is a cracking piece of road that goes up into the rain forest and needs to be done more than once to appreciate it. Again, this can be changed at the last minute in case of bad weather, and omit this section to go from an "8" route to a "O" route.
Below are the final route maps, so get studying...and remember no electronic mapping, GPS usage or other skullduggery is allowed!
The overnight stop on the Wednesday night will be in Boonah. There is accommodation available at the Australian Hotel, Boonah Motel, Boonah Valley Motel (just out of town) and others. Wotif and other accommodation booking sites have them all listed. Brilly is also looking into a special deal - we'll let you know if / when that works out.
